friday fragments, kinda

**Some of you might have noticed a lot of updates appearing if you read my blog via a blog reader. In the interest of safety and security I am starting to update my archives, which means that most readers think it is a new post and it will appear in your reader. You can disregard these!

When I first started this blog it was mainly for myself to reflect, and for my mom to look at pictures of what we were doing with our lives. It branched out to some family members and friends, and now I have a lot of readers around the US and worldwide that visit every day (even though I don't get a lot of comments, but that's ok!!)

Anyways, when I started I had no issues using my last name or the gamer's last name (yes, you can read the archives to find out why we don't share a name). Going by our last names sometimes is so clearly related to our identity and I no problems posting it on here.

However, as my blog has gained more popularity over time I realize that it might not be in the best interest of me or my family to keep including personal details, such as our last name in certain posts. I have also noticed some strange googling activity of my last name to get people to this blog, and I don't feel too comfortable with that either.

Therefore, you will now see B1 in reference to my family, and B2 in reference to the gamer's family. It might take awhile to go back and change all our name references, but this is what you will see from now on. I apologize in advance if this creates a lot of updates in your reader, but I am not sure how to prevent that!

**In other news, I had dinner with FOUR gamers last night. I'm still not sure how I survived. I did learn three things though:
1. The gamers are very anti-wow right now.
2. The gaming world is even bigger than I could care to imagine.
3. Knowing about the Wii, GH, and Wow is not enough to help a gamer's wife contribute much to the conversation.

**The weather for this weekend has been changed to severe thunderstorms with some kind of flood warning. Yet the gamer still insists on dragging me to the beach! I told him this will be the vacation we talk about in the future, as "remember that time when I told you we should just stay home and you didn't listen.."

**In other gaming news I have graduated to playing HARD on GH. I am pretty impressed with myself. The gamer's brother was here this week and I felt compelled to try and beat them both in MarioKart as well. I did beat my brother-in-law, so I'm happy with my efforts! Also, the gamer pre-ordered GH Metallica that comes out on Sunday, so I am pretty sure I can imagine how my living room TV will be monopolized all week.

**I have not heard back from either job yet! It looks like the possibility of us being drifters this summer is getting greater and greater by the day!

**I think that's enough fragments for one day. I'll be offline for the weekend (you know, because the power will be out as I try to save us from the flood) but stay tuned for my recap of "The Trip I Told Us Not To Take" when I return Monday!

Love,
H B1-B2
